Advanced Technology

At Terrace Heights Dental Center, we are committed to using modern dental technology to improve the quality of care our patients receive. These tools allow us to diagnose concerns earlier, enhance precision during treatment, and create a more comfortable overall experience.

By integrating advanced equipment into everyday care, we’re able to help patients better understand their oral health while supporting more efficient and effective treatment outcomes.

Intraoral Camera

Intraoral cameras allow us to take highly detailed images of your teeth and gums in real time. This small, camera-tipped device provides a close-up view of areas that are difficult to see with the naked eye.

These images are displayed on a monitor during your visit, helping us clearly explain what we see and giving you a better understanding of your oral health and treatment options.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays provide high-quality diagnostic images with greater efficiency and significantly reduced radiation exposure compared to traditional film X-rays.

These images can be viewed instantly, enlarged, and enhanced to help identify concerns early and support more accurate treatment planning—all while improving patient safety and comfort.

Cavity Detection System

Our cavity detection technology helps identify early signs of decay and weakened tooth structure, even in areas that may not yet be visible or detectable during a standard exam.

By catching potential issues earlier, we can often treat concerns in a more conservative way and help preserve more of your natural tooth structure over time.

Cone Beam CT (CBCT)

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) provides detailed, three-dimensional imaging that allows our team to evaluate teeth, bone structure, airways, and surrounding anatomy with exceptional precision.

Unlike traditional dental X-rays, CBCT technology captures a more complete view of your oral health, helping support accurate diagnosis and more informed treatment planning for procedures such as dental implants, complex restorative care, and certain TMJ-related evaluations. This advanced imaging allows us to deliver care with greater confidence, precision, and patient comfort.
